"Reclaiming Your Fearless Spirit: A Journey from Fearful to Fearless"

Over the course of several years, I underwent a shift from a state of fearlessness to feeling overwhelmed by fear. How did this change happen? I engaged in unfamiliar territory without any prior experience or reference, leading me to feel insecure. This shift occurred as God initiated a new work within me, allowing fear to take hold.

Around 13 years ago, I was known as a confident prayer warrior whom others sought out for prayer support. I willingly engaged in spiritual battles, including fasting and praying for divine guidance. However, I transitioned from being the one others sought for prayers to needing others to intercede on my behalf. This unexpected situation of fear and anxiety persisted for years, challenging my faith. If you are currently struggling with fear and anxiety, my story may provide some insight.

Reflecting on a pivotal moment 13 years ago, when my faith was strong, I expressed to God my readiness to delve deeper into a greater spiritual journey. I was willing to follow whatever path He had in store for me, even if it meant venturing into uncharted waters. Despite initial fears and doubts, I aspired to have unwavering faith, similar to Peter walking on water towards Jesus during a storm as described in Matthew 14:22-31. I aimed to mimic Peter's trust in Jesus, even if I faced challenges like him. Do you have the faith to step out of your comfort zone?

During a prayer session, I surrendered control of my life to God, leading to various spiritual attacks that I overcame with confidence. Despite initial reluctance, I eventually obeyed God's message to return to school, even though retirement was approaching. While considering attending bible college, God directed me to nursing school instead.

Enrolling in college while working full-time presented challenges, but I trusted in God's provision. Despite facing difficulties and feeling insecure as the oldest student in class, I persevered. Overcoming fears and doubts, I continued to trust in God's promise that I would become a nurse.

The journey through school tested my faith and perseverance, leading to moments of fear and anxiety. Despite setbacks and feelings of inadequacy, I trusted in God's guidance, eventually finding peace and passing the nursing state board exam. This experience taught me valuable lessons in perseverance, trust, and obedience to God's plan.

Reflecting on this transformative journey, I learned to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to walk in faith, even in the face of uncertainty. Trusting in God's wisdom and timing, I discovered a deeper spiritual connection and a renewed sense of purpose.
